My speculation is that V-Sync is causing the game lag in attempts to sync the refresh rate. Specifically, it increases performance of the game, as I noticed the game laggy and stuttering without it on. * FullscreenWindowMode is as the name implies. Without this configuration, the wrapper won't know to remove these scan lines when rendering zoomed in graphics. Prince of Qin is an older game that uses scan lines to output the graphics you see (I simplified this part). * The main fix for the zoom issue lies with the DdrawRemoveScanlines. * I haven't tested the DisableGameUX configuration, but I pre-emptively set it due to the possibility of high CPU usage (bug with Windows). Note that Prince of Qin is listed as needing DirectX 7, so it may be causing the graphical issues (my speculation). While similar to the D3d8to9 configuration, this configuration seems to be less buggy than the one tailored for DirectX 8. * This configuration setting converts calls from DirectX 1 - 7 to D3D9. Edit the dxwrapper.ini and replace the content of the file with these Unzip, and grab 'ddraw.dll' from the Stub folder, dxwrapper.dll, and dxwrapper.ini and copy them over to where Prince of Qin is located (where the PoQ.exe file is located).ģ.
